Here’s How Chunky Panday Reacted On Seeing Daughter Ananya In SOTY 2 Trailer
The much-awaited trailer of Karan Johar’s film ‘Student Of The Year 2’ has been released on YouTube on April 12. The film stars Tiger Shroff and debutants starring Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in important roles. Soon after the trailer launch, Chunky Panday, father of Ananya Panday, expressed his happiness and calls his daughter ‘a lucky girl’.
While talking to Pinkvilla, Chunky said: "I am over the moon. I have never been on her set, seen her shooting and never seen any rushes of the film. All she had shown me were the stills from the movie. When I saw the trailer, heard her voice on-screen, I was too emotional. I just flash-backed to the start of my career. It was better than I expected. I am surprised the way she comes across on screen, maybe she is camera-friendly. I could not imagine her like this on-screen. It came to me as a pleasant surprise and a shock."
Ananya will be sharing the screen space with Bollywood heartthrob Tiger Shroff in the movie, which is the sequel of "Student Of The Year", which had launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra in Bollywood in 2012.
The story of "Student Of The Year 2" revolves around one boy Rohan and two girls Mia and Shreya -- their lives, college politics and romantic interests.
Directed by Punit Malhotra, the film "Student Of The Year 2" is releasing on May 10.
