'I Am A Proud Single Mother To A Three Year Old Girl', Reveals Mahie Gill

Actress Mahie Gill, who made her mark in Pollywood industry with films like  ‘Mitti Wajaan Maardi’, ‘Chak De Phatte’, ‘Carry On Jatta’ , has recently revealed that she is a mother of a girl child who will be turning three in August this year. The actress said she gave birth to a girl three years ago and she is a proud 'single mother'.

Mahie Gill revealed this while talking to  Navbharat Times. The actress said that she has never told anyone about being a single mother before as no one has ever asked her about her marriage and future.

“Now that you have asked me, let me tell you. I am a mother to a young girl who turns three this August. Yes, I haven’t married yet. I will get married when I want to,” Mahie Gill told the leading website.

Further, on being asked when will the actress plans to get married, Mahie told the Hindi daily, “Why do I need to get married? I am happy like this and I think one can stay happily unmarried.” She believes that marriage is a beautiful thing and whether one wishes to go for it or not, is a personal choice.

During the interaction, Mahie also revealed that she has a boyfriend who lives in Goa and currently they are in a live-in relationship.

Besides in Pollywood, Mahie  is a well-known name in Bollywood industry as well.  She has featured in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' and Anurag Kashyap’s 'Dev D'.

Currently, Mahie is waiting for the release of her next film 'Family of Thakurgunj'. The film will feature Saurabh Shukla and Jimmy Sheirgill alongside her.
