Is Gippy Grewal Planning On Making Another Sequel Of PTC Nominated Film ‘Ardaas Karaan’?
Gippy Grewal’s ‘Ardaas Karaan’ did amazingly well at the box office when it was released in July last year. The makers are ready to enthrall the audience again with the release of the film in New Zealand on June 25, as the country re-opens after the lockdown of coronavirus pandemic.
But Gippy Grewal, the lead and the director of the film is thinking on making another sequel of the franchise as ‘Ardaas Karaan’ is also a sequel of the film ‘Ardaas’.
‘Ardaas Karaan’ is the sequel to ‘Ardaas’ film and thus follows the same narrative, but in a different setting. The sequel is set during the time of conflict among several people and depicts how three elderly men try to instil values in their families amid the conflict.
The first part of the film too managed to get a good response from the critics and viewers.
The film ‘Ardaas Karaan’ is nominated for PTC Punjabi film awards 2020 under numerous categories such as: Best story, Best film, best actor, best director, best dialogues, best editing.
