Three people have died on the sets of the film ‘Indian 2’ when a crane lifting some lighting equipment fell on the people who were assisting with the shoot of a sequence. The accident has left three people dead and nine people injured who are currently undergoing treatment in the Saveetha Medical College and Hospital. A Painful Incident Kamal Hassan tweeted to show his concern for the victims especially for the family. He said, “More than my pain, the grief of their families would be immense. I share their grief. My deep condolences to them". The accident was so severe that it left everyone in shock. The crane fell on the crew members who were preparing for the shoot. An assistant director and two others have lost their life in this incident. Not A Good Phase For The Film The unfortunate incident happened in the EYP Film Studio where ‘Indian 2’ was being shot. The film is a sequel to the 1996 released ‘Indian’ which was directed by S. Shankar. The sequel to this film, ‘Indian 2’ has big names in the list of star cast including Kamal Hassan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet, Siddharth and Priya Shankar. After this incident, the film shall undergo a really bad phase. The accident is a direct attack to the motivation of the remaining crew members. As of now, the injured are being treated in the hospital. For future, major precautions will be taken by the team of ‘Indian 2’ to avoid such miss happenings. As it is said, ‘The Show Must Go On’, the shooting shall resume soon to release the film next year.
