It’s Confirmed! Taapsee Pannu And Diljit Dosanjh Starrer ‘Soorma’ To Get A Sequel
It was just recently that Diljit Dosanjh’s film ‘Soorma’ turned two and now there is news of its sequel. The film based on the life of hockey player Sandeep Singh, starred Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in the leading roles.
Sandip took to Twitter to announce the sequel and wrote, “After the Success & love showered by all on Soorma now starting with The Onward Journey of Sandeep Singh as Singh Soorma with my Bro and Producer Deepak Singh. Seek Ur Blessings and support.” Sandeep is currently Haryana’s sports and youth affairs minister.

On July 13, Diljit’s film ‘Soorma’ turned two and he shared a thankful note to the makers of the film.
Besides, he shared a clip from the film, remembering the song and the film.

Directed by Shaad Ali, ‘Soorma’ was released on July 13, 2018. The hockey star used to be on the set to guide the actors on the finer aspects of the sport since both Taapsee and Diljit were cast as hockey players. And now the sequel will trace the hockey player’s political journey.
