Jagdeep Sidhu Asks Fans If They Want ‘Qismat 2’ Or ‘Sufna 2’

Jagdeep Sidhu is one of the most amazing writers and directors of the Punjabi film industry, who has given gems like ‘Qismat’ and ‘Sufna’ to the industry.

But is he coming with a sequel of ‘Sufna’ as ‘Sufna 2’ now after announcing a sequel of ‘Qismat’.

The film ‘Qismat’ was released in 2018 starring Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta. The film is ready for its sequel ‘Qismat 2’ now with the same team but the film couldn’t go in process owing to the lockdown due to the novel coronavirus.

Qismat was released worldwide on 21 September 2018 by White Hill Studios. The film attracted positive reviews from critics, with some highlighting it as Virk's best performance at the time.

But now is there going to be a sequel of ‘Sufna’ too?

The film ‘Sufna’ released early in 2020 starring Ammy Virk and Tania in the lead role. Tania and Ammy had worked together in ‘Qismat’ before but Tania wasn’t the lead there.

‘Sufna’ became commercial success upon its release. In its opening weekend, Sufna grossed ₹46.68 lacs in United States, ₹1.94 crore in Canada, ₹38.87 lacs in United Kingdom, ₹37.26 lacs in Australia, and ₹11.44 lacs in New Zealand.

Further, along with Ammy Virk and Tania in the lead, the movie had Jagjeet Sandhu, Seema Kaushal, Jasmin Bajwa, Kaka Kautki, Mohini Toor, Lakha Lehri, Balwinder Bullet, Rabab Kaur and Mintu Kapa in important roles.
