'I Am Happy That New Generation Is Responding Well To The Remake Of Koka', Says Jasbir Jassi

Singer Jasbir Jassi is one of the most popular singers in the Punjabi industry. He started recording in the late 1980s. He has given the biggest hit song of all times to the music lovers around the world. Recently, one of his most popular songs ‘Koka’ has been recreated for a Bollywood film ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’.

Soon after makers of ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ released the re-created version on YouTube, music lovers started pouring in their reactions. Majority of the music lovers have said that that original version is way better as compared with the re-created version.

While talking to Hindustan Times Jasbir said, “Some people say that the old version was good, since the melody is embedded in their minds. But the newer people are liking it. My friends have been telling me that children are talking about the new Koka, there’s buzz, they are watching it on YouTube. I am being told that the young generation also wants to talk to me about it. Freshness ki baat hai”

Jasbir also added that he has updated himself with time. He does not fear and understand the new techniques. The singer is also open to experiment.
