KANGANA RANAUT IS ALL SMILES IN SPITE OF HER INJURY

Kangana Ranaut, who’s currently shooting for Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, recently got injured while shooting a fight sequence. The 30-year-old actress was photographed at the Mumbai airport, escorted by her team as she arrived on a wheelchair with her right leg secured in a cast. Kangana, who smiled and posed (yes, posed) as the photographers clicked pictures of her, told media persons: "During this scene, I stumbled and injured my right ankle. There was nothing serious. It was just a sprain.”

Kangana injured her ankle while shooting a stunt scene at Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. She had to jump from a 40-feet-high wall with a child who’s playing her Rani Laxmibai's adopted son while being tied to her back.

‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ is an upcoming Indian epic biographical film about the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. It is being directed by National Award Winning Director Krish. Kangana will be essaying the role of Rani Laxmibai. The film is scheduled to release on 27 April 2018.
