Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad's shows CANCELLED in several theatres; replaced with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2

Dhaakad vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad's trailer had promised a stylish action thriller, was released on May 20, and sadly, the curiosity for the film was negligible.

The film had received an ‘A’ rating and it clashed with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which featured Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu.

The horror-comedy drama generated a lot of buzz and became the first choice for moviegoers. Thus, Dhaakad witnessed a poor opening at the box office while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continued its successful run on the big screen.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Dhaakad had collected just Rs. 50 lakhs on its opening day and the whole industry was left stunned. As per the Bollywood Hungama, a source stated that there was no excitement among the audience towards Dhaakad and that there was only a handful of viewers in the theatres on Day 1.

Several shows of 'Dhaakad' across the country got cancelled as no audience was interested in it. On the other hand, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is being loved by the audience and emerged as Kartik Aaryan's biggest opening weekend bizzer.

Dhaakad's second-day collections were also near Rs. 50 lakhs. The source further stated that on Saturday, several theatres had cancelled the shows of Dhaakad as there are only 10-15 people inside the large single screen theatres.

Hence, the shows of Dhaakad were being replaced with that of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The report further quoted a three-screen multiplex owner as saying that he has been playing Dhaakad in 2 shows and only 2 tickets were sold for Saturday's evening show.
