Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Dhaakad’ Gets Postponed Due To Coronavirus Scare

The first look of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film ‘Dhaakad’ was recently released online and it left many intrigued about the film.

Fans were excited to see Kangana in the savage avatar; however, it looks like they’ll have to wait for a little longer for that to happen. The film was initially scheduled for a Diwali release but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is reported the project will be postponed like several other films.

According to a leading daily, writer Sohail Makhlai revealed that the film was supposed to go on floors this April but due to the coronavirus scare, the makers are now planning to kick start shooting in July.

While the Diwali release seems difficult, since the film goes on floors four months later now, the makers are yet to decide on a fresh date.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut also had to shoot for the ‘Jayalalithaa’ biopic in July so it will be interesting to see how the actress will manage her dates for the two projects.
