After Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received a death threat letter in Mumbai, there are rumours that Lawrence Bishnoi's gang had director Karan Johar as one of their targets.
The rumours also say that the Lawrence Bishnoi's gang had planned to extort Rs. 5 crores from Karan Johar. As per speculations, Lawrence Bishnoi had the director Karan Johar as one of his targets while the gang was intended to extort Rs. 5 crores from the director.
As per the report, several reports suggested that Siddhesh Kamble, alias Mahakal, who was a member of the gang, gave this information.
During the investigation, Kamble reportedly disclosed that the group intended to use threats to extract money from Karan Johar. In a statement, he said that he spoke with Goldy Brar's brother Vikram Brar about services like Instagram and Signal.
However, the claims are yet to be validated, according to a senior police official. The police also stated that the purpose was to garner attention and obtain more money through extortion.
Mahakal is just a little fish, a police official told PTI. The police also informed that Mahakal had learned about Karan Johar from Vikram Brar. "Why would Brar tell this information to Mahakal who is just a foot soldier? The police further stated that Brar might want to impress young people like Mahakal and gain influence.
