Katrina Kaif Extends Monetary Support To 100 Background Dancers

The entertainment industry is slowly getting back to work and accepting the new normal during this time of global pandemic. However, many background workers of the industry are surviving hard. Background dancers are still facing difficulties due to the pandemic, they are finding it challenging to make both ends meet.

Coming to the background dancers’ aid is Katrina Kaif, who has extended financial support to nearly 100 dancers, helping them to earn a living.

The actress directly transferred money into the accounts of the dancers, who are using the aid as principal amount to start small businesses.

A senior dancer Hetal, who has also received help from Katrina, travels to the APMC market to buy vegetables and has started selling it online to societies. Hetal said, “I am taking the risk of my life as I leave at 3 am in the morning, leaving my children alone, to buy vegetables and then come back and sell vegetables to locals.”

On the work front, Katrina’s is ready with her upcoming movie ‘Sooryavanshi’ along with Akshay Kumar. The release has been postponed till the theaters re-open in India.
