Akshay Kumar, who is currently riding high on the success of his recently released film ‘Kesari’, has revealed that film set was engulfed in fire while shooting an important scene last year. In a behind scene video, Akshay narrated the incidence and said: We had already almost finished all the shooting and were about to shoot an important portion for our battle. We were all set, there were about seven cameras, but then suddenly, there was fire. Within seconds, the entire set was engulfed in fire, even before anyone could react. We didn’t realise there was something that just took off and the entire set literally melted away.” Anurag Singh, who has directed the film, also shared his experience while the film’s set got fire. He said: “We knew we were just 10-12 days away from finishing the shoot. But the set burned down and it was so sad.We knew this is going to be so difficult to finish.We were there for four months, you get attached to a place when you stay there.I think all of us were crying when we saw the set burn down.” Watch the video here: Meanwhile, ‘Kesari’ has amassed over Rs 87 crore in just five days. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to share Kesari’s box office details. Taran wrote: “#Kesari should’ve collected in double digits on Mon... North circuits dominate, driving its biz... Faces more-than-required decline in some circuits... Tue-Thu crucial... Thu 21.06 cr, Fri 16.75 cr, Sat 18.75 cr, Sun 21.51 cr, Mon 8.25 cr.
