Konkona Sen Sharma Father Dies At The Age Of 69

Mukul Sharma, father of Bollywood actress, Konkona Sen Sharma passed away late on Thursday night in Delhi. He was a profound writer of Science and Art. His stories were a source of Konkona and his ex wife Arpita Sen's directorial debut 'A death In The Gunj' and 'Paroma' respectively.

Even though Mukul had always been away from Bollywood, one of his short story made to the film industry with Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Ek Thi Dayan' starring Konkona in the movie.

Apart from 'Ek Thi Dayan', Vishal Bhardwaj has bought two other short stories from the writer to bring them to cinema. Rekha Bhardwaj, wife of Vishal Bhardwaj took to Twitter to share her grief on the sad demise of Sharma.

Mukul Sharma died at the age 69 and is survived by his wife Binita, and two daughters Konkona and Kamalini.
