In the complaint letter , Salim said that such speech on public domain was made to provoke riots and destroy the goodwill between the Bengali community and other communities across the country and cause public misbehaviour. According to Salim, the hint that was made in the speech by Rawal regards all Bengalis is bound to inspire feelings of hatred among other communities against Benaglis.

In fact the comments made on social media with regard to the annoying post show that he said is generating a lot of unfavourable opinion about Bengalis. Further, Salim added that large number of Bengalis live outside West Bengal so there is a possibility of them being unlawfully targeted because of the violent remarks made by the actor. Then, he also went on to to request the officer- in-charge of Taltata police station to consider his letter as an FIR.

All this happened when Paresh Rawal was campaigning for the BJP in Gujrat , he said gas cylinders are expensive but they will definitely come down and people would surely get employment soon, but what would happen if Rohingya migrants and Bangladeshis start living around them, like in Delhi , then he made this statement that what what they do with gas cylinders? Cook fish for the Bengalis?

This comment has made Rawal fall into a big trouble as an FIR has been lodged against him, So now let's see what steps does he take to defend himself for his mean comments or does he simply apologise for what he said.
