'Make Ardaas Karaan Tax Free', DSGMC Requests Indian Government

Gippy Grewal’s recent release ‘Ardaas Karaan’ is getting an overwhelming response from the movie lovers around the world. The chief of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC), Manjinder Singh Sirsa has appealed the government to exempt the entertainment tax on the film in India.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa requested Sh. Prakash Javedkar ( Honourable Minster of Information & Broadcast) to exempt tax of this movie as it will help more and more families to watch the movie and develop a positive social outlook.

Manjinder shared his letter to Prakash on social media and captioned it as: “Requesting Prakash Javadekar Ji and Arvind Kejriwal Ji for exempting the movie 'ARDAAS KARAAN' directed by Gippy Grewal from ENTERTAINMENT TAX in India and Delhi respectively as it conveys a beautiful and positive social message to the viewers and is particularly must-watch type movie for the young generation”

Meanwhile the film is doing wonders at the box office, spreading the message of brotherhood and positivity in life. It also gives a message of ‘live life to the fullest’ to the audience.

The film is a sequel of 2016 ‘Ardaas’ which stars Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Japji Khaira in the lead. Besides, Gippy Grewal’s younger son, Gurfateh Grewal also made his debut as a child artist in the film. He portrayed the role of a young child Jhanda Singh.
