Manikarnika Trailer Review: ‘Kangana Would Be The First Actress To Enter Rs 200 Cr Club’

The trailer of the Kangana Ranaut’s starrer much anticipated period drama titled ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ has been released on YouTube. The makers of the film organised a gala event in Mumbai on December 18 to launch the trailer.

Going by the trailer, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ looks like a promising treat for the historic cinema lovers. Kangana’s action sequences are one of the key things to watch out in the trailer.

Over 3 minute trailer has been getting positive reviews on social media site Twitter. Some of her fans have predicted that Kangana would be the first actress in Bollywood industry to enter into the Rs 200 Cr club.

Earlier, the teaser of the film was released two month’s back and it opened with the voice-over by legend Amitabh Bachchan who narrates the story of Queen Manikarnika’s rebellion against British.

Co-directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, the movie is based on the life of Rani Lakshmibai and her struggle against the British. Besides Kangana, the film also features Atul Kulkarni, Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongpa, Suresh Oberoi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub among others.

‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ will release on January 25, 2019.
