Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Golden Temple, is a Gurdwara located in Amritsar. Golden Temple is the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism. It was founded by the 4th Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das in 1577. Over lakhs of devotees visit the holy shrine every day to seek blessings. Golden Temple is considered as one of the important holy sites in India where men and women from all religions, caste and all walks of life could come and seek blessings. This is the reason why the Golden Temple, which is located at centre in a sarovar, has four entrances in the North, East, South and West. Besides a place of worship, Sri Harmandir Sahib is also known as a place of miracle. In 2016, a young boy suffering from paralysis in his legs and arms, visited the holy shrine along with his family members. One member from his family, carried the boy on his back to take him to do Ardass inside the Golden Temple.  The boy was made to sit inside the complex and he tried to stand on his feet. He tried two or three times, but he failed to stand. He kept on trying and at last he stood up and regained power in his arms and legs. publive-image This whole incidence was captured in CCTV cameras installed at the Golden Temple. WATCH
