Mr Punjab 2018 Grand Finale: Chandigarh's Avneet Singh Is The New 'Mr Punjab'
23-year-old Avneet Singh declared winner of Mr Punjab 2018 title. Avneet Singh, born on 20 August 1995 in Chandigarh, was honoured with Rs 1 lakh cash prize and a trophy. His aim is to become an actor. Babalbir Singh was adjudged the first runner-up. He was given Rs 50 thousand cash prize. Khushpreet Singh got the second runner-up award. He received Rs 35 thousand cash prize. ‘Mr Punjab 2018’ Grand Finale was held at the Football Ground adjacent to Dussehra Ground in Mohali, Punjab. Well-known presenter Satinder Satti hosted the Grand Finale event. Well-known Punjabi singer Ninja was the star performer.

Punjab’s biggest talent hunt show, ‘Mr Punjab 2018’ was kick-started on PTC Punjabi in September earlier this year. ‘Mr Punjab 2018’ received positive response from the audience. The show is all about giving opportunity to all the youngsters of Punjab to showcase their talent to the world.
Over thousands participated in the auditions held in four major cities in Punjab including Amritsar, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Jalandhar. They tried to impress judges – Vindu Dara Singh, Kartar Cheema and Inderjit Nikku – with their talents, but only few could make it to the final rounds.
