The makers of the film ‘Namaste England’ have released the first song from the film. Song titled ‘Tere Liye’ is a romantic number and has been sung by Atif Aslam and Akanksha Bhandari.
‘Tere Liye’ shows the romantic journey and intense chemistry shared by the lead characters, played by Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
The romantic number is penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Mannan Shaah. The song is set against the colourful backdrop of Punjab.
Earlier, the makers of the film released a video announcing that the song will be released on September 11.
In the video, the makers of the film shared the heart-warming love stories of three ordinary people.
The 30-second long video begins with the man who cycled his way to Sweden to meet his lady love, proceeds with the story of second couple who were separated within 3 days of being married but were reunited after 60 years, and ends with a man who gave up everything he had to build a second Taj Mahal for his love, his wife.

Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Namaste England’ is inspired from the 2007 hit film ‘Namaste London’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
‘Namaste England’ has been directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and is slated to release on October 19th.
