'NIKKA ZAILDAR 2', AN ATTEMPT TO BRING PUNJABI CINEMA BACK TO ITS ROOTS

Renowned Punjabi film director Simranjeet Singh is all set with his upcoming project 'Nikka Zaildar 2'. The movie is scheduled to be released on 22nd September worldwide and stars Ammy Virk, Sonam Bajwa and Wamiqa Gabbi as the main lead roles.

Being in the industry for 20 years, Simranjeet Singh has developed a certain knack for direction and believes that Pujabi cinema has drifted away from its roots. 'Nikka Zaildar 2' is his attempt to bring the Punjabi cinema back to where it belongs.

So far, 'Angrej' has been Simranjit's most successful film which starred Amrinder Gill in the lead role. 'Angrej' not only managed to set new milestones with its roaring success but also established Ammy Virk in the Pujabi Fim Industry.

It will be interesting to see if Simranjit manages to repeat the history with 'Nikka Zaildar 2'.
