Amit Bhalla, who is popularly known as Ninja was born in Ludhiana and was always good in studies. He never dreamed of becoming a singer but always wanted to complete his MBA and find a good job. Punjabi singer has faced a very difficult time in his life, where he faced challenges in paying even his college fees. At school, he once got a chance to sing Punjabi boliyan in Bhangra competition.

His performance was appreciated by the audience after which he decided to take his singing seriously. Then, he used to participate in many competitions at University level and won many prizes as well. Ninja played leaders role in dance competitions and used to prepare teams for the same.
