Nostalgic! Sunny Deol Shares Picture Of Himself Receiving National Award For Damini

Actor Sunny Deol surprised his fans after he shared a throwback picture of himself while receiving the National Award for his film Damini. Sunny Deol was honoured with National Award National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Damini in 1993.

Damini is a 1993 crime drama film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi starring Meenakshi Seshadri in the title role alongside Sunny Deol, Rishi Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Tinu Anand, Paresh Rawal. Sunny Deol played the role of a lawyer in the film.

Sunny’s dialogue from the film ‘Dhai kilo ka haath’ made him the household name. On April 30, 2019 the film will be completing its 26 years.

Sunny Deol took to his Instagram to share his throwback picture. He captioned the image as: “#damini”.
