‘Our Armed Forces Will Give Befitting Reply’, Says Kapil On Pulwama Attack
Comedian Kapil Sharma, who is currently facing the heat from social media users for defending Navjot Singh Siddhu over his controversial Pulwama terror attack, has now said that he is sure that the armed forces would give befitting reply to the terrorists.
In an interview with Time of India, Kapil said: “People might have different opinions on how to deal with the perpetrators of terrorism, but we should not get distracted by it. The biggest tribute that we can pay to our martyrs is to show solidarity with their families in this hour of grief. I’m sure our armed forces will give a befitting reply to the terrorists and their handlers in Pakistan.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu was replaced by the makers of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ after social media users started demanding the sacking of Congress leader from the show over his controversial comment on terror attack in which over 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred.
Sidhu had said: “(for a) handful of people you cannot blame the entire nation (Pakistan).”
Earlier, Kapil had said that banning someone or sacking is not the solution to this larger issue.
Actress Archana Puran Singh has now replaced the cricketer-turned-politician on the show. She has already shot two episodes for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
