Pan-India formula didn't worked for 'Liger', Vijay Deverakonda's action flick turns out to be 'disaster' at box office

Liger Box office collection: While Hindi films have not been working well at the box office this year, the Bollywood film industry was seemingly dependent on the pan-India formula which appeared to be working for them. Except for Alia Bhatt's 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', Hindi film has not been working well at the box office.

Talking about the year 2022, the pan-India formula has been working this year, especially when Hindi films were facing crisis-like-situation. Be it 'RRR', 'KGF Chapter 2', or 'Vikram', the pan-India films did pretty well at the box office.

However, it seems the formula didn't settle well with Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' as it turned out to be a disaster at the box office with the low collection.

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer 'Liger' is turning out to be a huge disappointment as it has been receiving negative reviews ever since it was released. Such reviews seemed to have affected the film's run at the theatres.

According to information, 'Liger' is estimated to have garnered approximately Rs 5.50 crore on its first Sunday. Now, it will be interesting to see if 'Liger' will be able to leave an impact during the weekdays.

Puri Jagannadh's directorial was released in multiple languages but now it has been struggling at the box office. In the 4-day run at theatres, Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' box office collection is yet to cross the Rs 50-crore mark.
