Playing Munna Bhai Was Most Difficult Part Of Sanju, Says Rabir Kapoor

Well! There is no denying that we all love the movie Sanju and Ranbir’s performance in it. But do you know how much effort it took for the actor to pull off the similar look? Ranbir got everything right to trademark Sanjay Dutt’s character in this Munna Bhai sequel of Rajkumar Hirani. In the video, Ranbir can be heard saying, “Munna bhao jaisa kirdar nibhana bahut ji mushkil hai. I don’t think I could ever create such an iconic character. But it feels great that I could emulate a small part.”

Ranbir also says, “When I was a child, I had a poster of Sanju sir on the wall of my cupboard, and through this film, I am in his shoes. I think in my life, I really want Sanju sir to like me. I know I never can be the man he is, but in whichever way that I go about in my career as a person and even through this film, I really want Sanju sir to like me because I feel that he is man that I respect a lot and I really look up to him. I hope that he feels that I have represented his life in very honest and improved way.”

‘Sanju’ has Paresh Rawal playing the role of Sunil Dutt and Manisha Koirala is depicted as Sanjay Dutt’s mother in the film. Other than Sanjay Dutt, the film also casts Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh.
