‘Proud Of Abhishek Bachchan's Work In Manmarziyan,’ Says Karan Johar

Filmmaker-producer Karan Johar has said that he is proud of actor Abhishek Bachchan's performance in the film ‘Manmarziyan’.

With ‘Manmarziyan’, Abhishek Bachchan is making a comeback into the Bollywood after a span of two years. The actor was last seen in ‘Housefull 3’ that released in June 2016.

KJo took to his Twitter account to praise the entire cast and crew of the film ‘Manmarziyan’ including film's writer Kanika Dhillon.

"The man-woman dynamics of 'Manmarziyan' are beautifully chaotic. The atmospherics combined with the Anurag Kashyap madness makes this film a truly unusual and magical emotional ride! I was on an Amit Trivedi roller coaster and enjoyed every bit of it," Karan tweeted.

"She (Kanika Dhillon) captures the emotional beats with ease and expertise. The performances are extraordinary! A superbly solid, silent and sensitive portrayal by Abhishek Bachchan! So proud of his work! He is so amazing!" he wrote.

"Vicky Kaushal is all gusto and glory portraying a manic lover with genius abandon! He has some moments of brilliance in the film! Taapsee Pannu holds the strings of her layered character like an absolute veteran," he added.

Besides Abhishek, the film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.

‘Manmarziyaan’ is a love triangle with Taapsee playing the character of Rumi, Vicky Kaushal essaying the role of DJ Vicky and Abhishek Bachchan of Robbie.

The movie is slated to release on September 14.
