PTC Punjabi Weekly Review : The Power Pack Performances and Action Sequences Make Punjab Singh A Must Watch

Punjabi Film Industry is mostly hailed for comedy based content as Punjabis usually prefer to watch lighthearted movies. In the past few years however, a few filmmakers have tried to tread the road less traveled by making movies that talk reality. Punjab Singh, the latest Punjabi flick that got released on 19^th January is one such film which deserves an applause.

Directed by Taj, this Gurjind Maan, Kuljinder Singh Sidhu and Anita Devgn starrer delivers awe-inspiring performances which will come as a treat for action lovers. Gurjind Maan, who plays a larger-than-life character, has done a terrific job as his transition from an innocent family man to a ferocious and ruthless gangster has been portrayed quite beautifully.

Kuljinder Sidhu delivers an emphatic performance with his evil looks as well as dialogues while Anita Devgn’s role is going to surprise her fans a lot. One aspect that may astonish viewers is the blatant use of abuses which actually complements film’s base though sensitive audience may find it disturbing at point or the other.
