Punjabi Music Industry Loses Legendary Singer 'Kartar Singh Ramla'
Famous singer Kartar Singh Ramla died yesterday in Guru Gobind Singh Medical Hospital in Faridkot due to cardiac arrest. With this heart breaking news, Punjabi musical industry has lost it's gem. Realising the fact that from now onwards none would be able to cherish those live musical performances from the side of Kartar Singh Ramla, grief has reached a level next.
The entire industry has come forward to pay a tribute to the legendary singer. Famous singer Gurlej Akhtar has posted a heartfelt message for him by referring to him as 'Papa Ji'. She has shared her experience of sharing the stage with him while performing. Apart from this, super talented actor Karamjit Anmol also posted a picture of the late singer and prayed for the departed soul.

Kartar Singh Ramla who had his career span of nearly forty years never worried from criticism. After being criticised for singing inappropriate songs by a few, he never stopped his efforts. As a result, he rose to such fame which can't be earned by everyone so easily. From Babbu Mann to Diljit Dosanjh, from Sharry Maan to almost every famous singer of today's time, everyone has appreciated Kartar Singh Ramla and has referred to him as their inspiration.
Kartar Singh Ramla who was born in Pakistan migrated to India during the cross border turmoil in 1947. After that, he settled in Faridkot. In 1978, he recorded his first ever song. He has given his audience a huge number of hit songs but 'Joban Mukda Nahi' is one of the most popular one. His death is a big loss to our industry.
