PTC Network MD Rabindra Narayan Latest News: PTC Network MD Rabindra Narayan, while celebrating World Music Day, said that Punjabi music is ruling the world. While attending an event organised by Loudest.in, exchangeformedia, and Business World, on the occasion of World Music Day, Rabindra Narayan elaborated on the contribution of PTC Network to the world of music.
During a discussion on 'Decoding the next big pivot for the music industry', PTC Network's founder and MD, Rabindra Narayan was joined by CEO of Event Crafters, Siddhartha Chaturvedi, and CEO of Showcase Events, Nanni Singh.
PTC Network MD Rabindra Narayan said that for him music is life. "If there is no music, there is no life. As they say, the entire world was created out of the sound of 'Om', and that's the creation of sound."
"We are having about six Punjabi channels out of which 3 are music channels — PTC Music, PTC Chakde, and PTC Gold. Also, we have a record label i.e. PTC Records where we record those who cannot afford to record music or make videos, we help them," he said.
Adding, he said that "We do record over 500-600 original songs in a year under PTC records. We have a streaming app where we stream these contents. Besides, we have 19 beams across the world where everybody is enjoying Punjabi music."
Furthermore, he said that "the success of Punjabi music has been the Punjabi channels led by PTC Network and the others. Punjabi music rules the world, be it in Canada, Australia, Spain, Germany, and across the globe."
"Be it fusion or raps, the new experiments in Punjabi music are making it even more popular," said Rabindra Narayan, adding that "Punjabi music is conquering the world by its ability to adapt, and to merge and to fuse with other forms and to inspire them."
