Well-known Punjabi singer-actor Parmish Verma will be playing the lead role in Punjabi remake of Rohit Shetty’s hit action Bollywood film ‘Singham’, which stars Ajay Devgn. The Punjabi re-make of the 2011 blockbuster will be co-produced by Ajay Devgn and T-Series Films. Recently, the shoot of the film kick-started and the 'Gaal Ni Kadni' fame singer took to his Instagram account to share his look from the movie. publive-image Parmish Verma is playing the character of a tough cop named Dilsher Singh. Earlier, Ajay Devgn announced the Punjabi version of “Sigham” by sharing a poster on his Twitter handle. He captioned it as: “Punjab da sher (Tiger of Punjab) Parmish Verma, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak.” ‘Singham’ was first made in the southern film industry, followed by Bollywood and now in Punjabi. ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se’ fame director  Navaniat Singh is directing the Punjabi version of the film. The fil is slated to release in 2019. Besides Parmish, the film also stars Sonam Bajwa and Kartar Cheema.
