Rajkummar Rao claims misuse of his PAN card; requests CIBIL officials to look into the matter

Rajkummar Rao said recently that he was the target of a fraud in which his PAN card was used to obtain a loan in his name.

The Badhaai Do actor alleged that the fraud had damaged his credit score and requested that authorities at Credit Information Bureau India Limited (CIBIL) investigate the situation.

He claimed that his PAN card had been used to obtain a modest loan, which had a negative impact on his credit score. He took to his Twitter and stated, “#FraudAlert My pan card has been misused and a small loan of Rs.2500 has been taken on my name. Due to which my cibil score has been affected. @CIBIL_Official please rectify the same and do take precautionary steps against this."

Rao isn't the first Bollywood star to be defrauded of money. Sunny Leone, who was in a similar scenario a few months ago, was in the same boat. She further stated that her PAN card had been used to obtain a Rs 2000 loan, which had a negative impact on her CIBIL score. On Twitter, the actor revealed the news.

On the professional front, Rajkummar was most recently seen in the drama Badhaai Do, in which he co-starred with Bhumi Pednekar. He'll next be featured in films like Hit, Monica, O My Darling, Bheed, Guns and Gulaabs, and Bhushan Kumar's next untitled film, in which he plays visually handicapped industrialist Srikanth Bolla.
