'Ram Lakhan' completes 33 years: Subhash Ghai reveals that he made 'Ram Lakhan' without a proper script

Subhash Ghai, a well-known Bollywood filmmaker, has directed numerous blockbusters. Films like 'Taal,' 'Pardes,' and 'Khalnayak' have made him famous. He recently marked the 33rd anniversary of his renowned film 'Ram Lakhan,' starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff, and Dimple Kapadia.

Ram Lakhan, which was released 33 years ago today, received immediate acclaim. The film featured everything that defines Indian cinema traditions, from a solid storyline to vivid performances to a terrific soundtrack record. The legendary actor took the audience on a classic story in which two brothers- Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff seek vengeance against the forces of evil.

During an interview, Subhash Ghai revealed a fascinating narrative about the picture. He went on to say that Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff had previously worked together in my film 'Jung' in the starring role. As a result, they were both ready to begin filming next shoon when they were brought on board.

Madhuri Dixit's producing company had already signed three films. Despite the involvement of well-known stars in the picture, Anil and Jackie's prior efforts at the box office failed miserably. As a result, some distributors abandoned the film when they discussed it.

Ghai went on to say in the interview that he was adamant about making the picture and that he had to make numerous changes to the script during production. "Today, everyone wants a script that is exact," he says. However, I made 'Ram Lakhan' without a proper script and it became a huge hit.

Anil Kapoor, who played Lakhan in the film and became famous for his dance number 'One to Four,' has also honored the film's 33rd anniversary.
