Ramayan's Sita aka Dipika Chikhlia faces backlash for posing in skirt; deletes post

The netizens have found a new subject in Dipika Chikhlia who played ‘Sita’ in original Ramayan. Reportedly, she had posted a picture in which she was seen with her female friends.

In the picture, Dipika Chikhlia was seen wearing a white shirt, skirt, and tie. She seemed to have been attending a theme party. She was seen holding a wine glass.

However, the picture did not settle well with her fans, netizens and trollers who remembered her as ‘Mata Sita’ from Ramayan.

Likewise, she was heavily criticised by the trollers as they believe it was “inappropriate” for her to post such a picture.

Dipika Chikhlia had posted the picture on her Instagram handle and people started criticising her. One person commented, "Ye Apka Khon Sa Avtar Hai...? Sorry, Dekh Kar Bilkul bhi Acha Nahi Laga...(What avatar is this? Sorry, didn’t like it)".

Another person commented, "Maa ye aapne Haath me kaunsi drink le rakhi hai? (What is the name of the drink in your hands?)" One more user wrote: "Aapko aise kpde nhi pehnne chaiye Dipikaji hamne aapko devi ka drja diya hua h so (You should not wear such dress Dipika Ji as we have given you the place of a Goddess)"

Meanwhile, Dipika Chikhlia decided to delete the picture. Notably, she is active in politics.
