RANBIR KAPOOR AND ALIA BHATT SUPPORT THE ‘ORGAN DONATION DRIVE’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are paired together for an upcoming movie “Brahmastra” by Ayan Mukherji which will go on floors soon. But, before all this the team of “Brahmastra” supported the “Organ Donation Drive”. “Organ Donation Drive” is an attempt to create awareness about the importance of Organ Donation, the Amar Gandhi Foundation had organised an awareness programme followed by a live concert by singer Shankar Mahadevan. This whole event was held at the Nehru Centre in Mumbai on 18 November.

Alia and Ranbir took their steps forward to create awareness about the Organ Donation drive started by Amar Gandhi Foundation. Alia told media, “It is important to make people are aware of the process behind it. I think it is important to come and talk about the health issues and Amar Gandhi Foundation and Organ Donation Awareness Drive make people aware of the prospects of their organ donation, alive or post-death."

Ranbir Kapoor got so impressed with the drive that he decided to donate his organs. He interacted with the media to express his feelings and said, “Pledge and donate my organs, I hope that by me doing this it will make a difference to one person or two persons lives, and keeps going forward and it will make a big difference, so please do consider pledging your organs. ”
