Kapil Sharma’s film “Firangi” is the third film to change its release date after the “Padmavati” controversy. The much awaited movie of comedian Kapil Sharma will not be releasing his movie on the scheduled date. The movie was initially set to release on 10 November and then it was announced that it would be releasing on 24 November. Now, the makers have shifted it to 1 December.
Kapil told the media, “The film has been delayed a bit. The screening of the film at the CBFC happened today. We are yet to get a certificate from the board. We are now coming on December 1.” Sources form the Board also have the same thing to tell to media. Reportedly, the source said, “We have seen the film today and e will issue a certificate shortly. It will be certified perhaps later in the day or tomorrow. ”
“Firangi” is produced by Kapil Sharma under his own production house “K9 Films”. Ishita Dutta is the leading lady and the love angle for Kapil in the movie. Also, the Punjabi actress, Monica Gill plays an important role in the movie. “Firangi” is Monica Gill’s debut Bollywood movie. So, let’s wait for one more week for the movie to release.
