India’s first female super star ‘Sri Devi’ had lost her life two years ago. It is still hard to believe that she isn’t anymore. ‘Hawa Hawaii’ who had ruled the silver screen for years shall never spread her charm on silver screen is a painful reality to digest. If One Could Re-Write The Past If it was possible to rewrite the past, for sure the episode of her tragic death would have been erased. None would have thought of Sri Devi leaving this world at such an early stage of life. The actress had gone along with her husband to attend a family function on February 24, 2018 in Dubai where apparently, she accidentally got drowned in a bath tub and died.

Sri Devi’s Death United The Broken Family The equation of Kapoor family has been no less than a filmy story. It all began when Producer Boney Kapoor had chosen Sri Devi for marriage and had decided to split with his first wife. This had formed the grounds for the distances between the families.
Arjun Kapoor who is the son of Boney Kapoor from his first wife never shared a good bond with his second mother Sri Devi and his half sisters Janhvi and Khushi. It was only after the death of Sri Devi, when Arjun came in the front to support his sisters because he could feel the pain which the girls were undergoing. In fact, Arjun was the one who flew from Dubai along with Boney to get the dead body of Sri Devi to Mumbai for last rites. Presently all the kids are together with their father Boney Kapoor. So, Sri Devi’s death can be considered as a turning point for their family.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Emotional State Janhvi Kapoor lost her mother Sri Devi before her twenty first birthday. Her debut film ‘Dhadak’ was about to release and Sri Devi couldn’t even cherish her daughter’s first ever screen presence. It is strange to know that Arjun Kapoor had also lost her mother right before the release of his debut film ‘Ishaqzaade’.
