Reports: Akshay Kumar, Priyadarshan To Do A Comedy Film Together After 10 Years
Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have given comic hits like ‘De Dana Dan’, ‘Here Pheri’, ‘Phir Here Pheri’, ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ among many others. The duo is now ready to come back with another comic flick to give a good laugh to their fans.
The actor-director duo, who are known to have taken the audience through a roller-coaster of laughter, are all set to reunite after 10 years! The veteran director spilled the beans about it all on November 25 at IFFI, Goa.
Priyadarshan was quoted saying, “It is a comedy. I'm currently writing it and will start working on it next year around September-October. Fortunately, Akshay has not been doing many comedies. He did this Housefull 4' and it didn't do really well, the way he wanted it to be.”
Akshay’s complete trust is what has made their duo a big hit. Priyadarshan also said that Akshay states that he learns a lot in his company.
On the other hand, Priyadarshan is currently working on ‘Hungama 2’. Meanwhile, Akshay is currently waiting for the release of his most awaited comic flick ‘Good Newwz’, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kiara Advani in the lead along with him. ‘Good Newwz’ is slated to release on December 27.
