The experts at Capitol Hospital, best healthcare in our region will discuss few such anti-cancer beverages so that we can inculcate them in our daily routine and reduce cancer risk.

Few of anti-cancer beverages are discussed below:-

GREEN TEA

Originated from China, green tea is becoming a popular choice among people all around the globe because of its excellent benefits. Green tea is a tea which is made from the Camellia sinensis leaves. The similarities between the traditional tea and green tea end here. Green tea doesn’t undergo the same oxidation and withering process encountered by the traditional tea.

We have different varieties of green tea depending on several factors like growing conditions, horticultural methods etc.

Green tea extracts have been used in Chinese and Indian medicine for a long time. But the benefits of a cup of green tea don’t end here.

Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is a type of catechin found in green tea. It is also an excellent antioxidant. The research which was done on this particular catechin clearly reveals its health benefits and also its cancer-fighting abilities. EGCG helps to inhibit the tumor growth and prevents the tumor growth. Also, the growth of a protein named cyclin D1 which helps cancer cells to grow and penetrate is stopped by EGCG.

Although research which has been done on EGCG has been from laboratories and not on humans but seeing the positive feedback from the labs, many clinical trials have been done to gather evidence on anti-cancer properties of green tea and EGCG.

But the tea brew with the tea leaves is more beneficial and rich in anti-oxidants than the tea bags which are available on the market these days.

Green tea has several other benefits too. It is especially beneficial for heart diseases, weight loss, and toxicity. It also helps in digestion. You can make your green tea tastier by adding lemon and honey to it.

PURPLE GRAPE JUICE (No added sugar and preservatives)

This juice which is made from purple grapes is also an anti-cancer beverage. It contains anti-oxidants like resveratrol which helps in reducing the spreading of cancer.

It also has benefits like reducing the risk of blood clots. It reduces the bad cholesterol (LDL-low density lipoprotein). Also helps in preventing damage to blood vessels in the heart.

There should be no added sugar and preservatives in the juice as it minimizes the benefits.

CUSTOMISED BEVERAGES

All the anti-cancer foods can be used to make healthy as well as tasty smoothies and drinks. For example, turmeric can be mixed with milk. Ginger tea is another such customization.

So rack your brains and come up with tasty delicacies and health benefits for yourself.

Anticancer Foods You Should Include In Your Daily Routine
