The latest hearing brought a temporary relief for the actor, but the court also made it clear that there is very little room for further delay. The Supreme Court has accepted Yadav’s proposal to sell his ancestral property to arrange the required funds and has given him time until October 13 to deposit Rs 2 crore.

During the recent hearing, Rajpal Yadav appeared personally before the court and submitted demand drafts worth Rs 1.15 crore to the Supreme Court Registry. His legal team explained that the payment was made through demand drafts because RTGS payment was not permitted by the Registry.

With Rs 1.15 crore already submitted, Yadav now needs to arrange the remaining Rs 85 lakh to complete the immediate Rs 2 crore payment ordered by the court. The deadline has been strictly fixed for October 13.

To arrange the remaining amount, Yadav has proposed selling his ancestral property. A prospective buyer, Anant Prakash Yadav, was also present during the hearing and agreed to make the remaining payment.
