Amish clarified that the rights to the Shiva Trilogy are still with him and no agreement has been signed with anyone so far. While denying the reports, the bestselling author also praised Ranveer Singh, calling himself a fan of the actor. The clarification has once again sparked curiosity among fans, many of whom have been waiting for years to see the popular mythological saga adapted for the screen.

Rumours around big-budget trilogy

The fresh wave of speculation began after reports claimed that Ranveer Singh had secured the rights to Amish Tripathi’s Shiva Trilogy under his production banner, Maa Kasam Film. The reports further suggested that the actor was planning a grand-scale trilogy in collaboration with Birla Studios.
