ਜਦੋਂ ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ 'ਮਾਫੀਆ ਮੁੰਡੀਰ' ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਗੀਤ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਹੈਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਉਹ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਟ ਟੈਲੇਂਟ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ।"

ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ 'ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਡੀਸ ਟ੍ਰੈਕ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹਨੀ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਜਵਾਬ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦੇ ਹੋਸਟ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਫੋਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ 'ਤੇ ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਆਫੀ ਮੰਗੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ 6 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਡਿਸਕ ਟ੍ਰੈਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਮੈਂ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਲਾਈਟ 'ਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ 'ਪਾਜੀ' ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਆਈ। ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਪੱਖਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਾਂ। ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ ਉਸਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, 'ਕੋਈ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੀ ਕਹਾਂ।'

ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਪਰ ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਫਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੋਚਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਲਿਲੀ ਗੋਲੂ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਦੀ ਵਰਦੀ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।" t।" ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ 'ਚ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਰਫਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਆਫੀ ਮੰਗੀ ਹੋਵ , ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਸੀ।
