"Our team then worked closely with the film crew and gave them a detailed walkthrough of the interiors, explaining the unique design elements and special features that are shown in the movie," she said.

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon and her family have reportedly sold four residential apartments in Mumbai's Andheri West for a total value of Rs 8.9 crore. According to property registration documents, the transactions were completed in April 2026, with reports stating that casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra is the buyer.

The apartments are located in Raheja Classique, a well-known residential complex in Andheri West. The area is one of Mumbai's most popular real estate locations because of its excellent connectivity through the Western Express Highway, Link Road, Mumbai Metro, and suburban railway network. It is also close to major business and entertainment hubs, including SEEPZ, MIDC, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), and Film City.

As per the property documents reviewed by Square Yards, two of the apartments were sold for Rs 3.23 crore each. Both units have a built-up area of 654.23 square feet and include one dedicated parking space. Stamp duty of Rs 19.41 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000 were paid for each of these transactions.

The family also sold two smaller apartments in the same building for Rs 1.21 crore each. These units measure 246.06 square feet, and each transaction attracted a stamp duty of Rs 7.29 lakh along with registration charges of Rs 30,000.

Reports further reveal that Geeta Sanon, Kriti's mother, had purchased two of these apartments in 2013 for around Rs 1.40 crore. Kriti Sanon and her sister Nupur Sanon reportedly bought the remaining two units in 2017 for a combined amount of nearly Rs 2.90 crore. This means the family's total investment in all four apartments was approximately Rs 4.30 crore.

With the latest sale valued at Rs 8.9 crore, the properties have almost doubled in value over the years. The deal highlights the strong appreciation of real estate prices in Andheri West, which continues to be one of Mumbai's most sought-after residential areas.

While reports identify Mukesh Chhabra as the buyer, neither the actress nor the filmmaker has officially confirmed or commented on the transaction. The information is based on property registration records and reports published by Square Yards.

Singer-rapper Badshah’s Chandigarh-based nightclub SAGO has landed in fresh trouble after the Chandigarh administration sealed the premises over alleged building violations and regulatory irregularities. The club, located in the city's popular nightlife hub of Sector 26, was shut down as part of an ongoing enforcement drive targeting establishments accused of flouting approved norms.

Why is Badshah's restaurant Sago sealed?

The action was carried out by the administration's enforcement wing following inspections and a review of complaints regarding alleged non-compliance at the property. Officials later secured the premises, preventing any further use until additional orders are issued by the competent authority.

Alleged Violations Trigger Administrative Action

According to an official notice issued by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Estate Officer, proceedings were initiated under Rule 14 and Rule 10 of the Chandigarh Estate Rules, 2007, read with Section 8A of the Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952.

Authorities claimed that inspections revealed multiple unauthorized modifications across different sections of the building. Among the alleged violations were the construction of cabins and partitions, unauthorized toilets, kitchen facilities, and a cold storage area. Officials also flagged the covering of open courtyards using mild steel structures and fibre sheets, along with changes to the sanctioned layout and planning of the property.

The notice further cited the construction of tin sheds, storage spaces, alterations to the rear elevation, and several other deviations from the approved building plan.

Show-Cause Notice Issued Before Sealing

The administration stated that a show-cause notice had been served to the club's occupants on April 25, 2024, after inspection teams documented the alleged violations. The club was reportedly asked to provide an explanation regarding the discrepancies identified during the inspection process.

Following a review of the matter and the responses submitted, authorities decided to proceed with the sealing of the premises.

Sector 26 Nightlife Venues Under Scanner

SAGO's sealing comes amid increased scrutiny of nightlife establishments operating in Sector 26, one of Chandigarh's busiest entertainment districts. Over the past few days, authorities have reportedly taken similar action against several discos and clubs in the area for alleged violations of building and operational norms.

The administration's latest move signals a broader effort to ensure compliance among commercial establishments in the city’s nightlife circuit.

SAGO Had Earlier Made Headlines Over Bomb Scare

This is not the first time SAGO has found itself in the spotlight. In 2024, the club was at the centre of a major security scare after two explosions occurred outside Badshah's clubs in Chandigarh.

CCTV footage from the incident reportedly showed a man hurling suspected crude bombs at the establishments before fleeing the scene. During the investigation, Delhi Police arrested Deepak, a resident of Punjab's Faridkot district, alleging that he was in regular contact with gangster Goldy Brar.

While the bomb scare had raised concerns over security at the venue, the current action against the club is linked to alleged building and regulatory violations identified by the Chandigarh administration.
