Among many issues that persist today in India, roads filled with potholes are still a matter of concern across the country. From time to time many people have addressed this issue and took this matter to their hands. One of them now is the traffic cop, Gurbaksh Singh from Bhatinda.
Gurbaksh Singh from Bhatinda is filling potholes single-handedly on the roads, and sometimes with his fellow constables.
So far, the constable has filled potholes on Bhagu Road, Liberty Chowk, Dana Mandi and highway leading to his village, Buladhewala.
Gurbaksh uses mud, brick, and tiles to fill up the potholes.
Reportedly, he has been awarded Rs 1000 for his social cause and his name has been recommended for a promotion as well.
Going by the reports, the idea of filling potholes occurred to Gurbaksh when he witnessed a biker and the pillion rider fall from the bike due to a pothole.
Gurbaksh is doing a great job even off duty!
