Sargun Mehta Shares A Heartfelt Note On Being One Of Very Few Female Producers In Punjabi Industry
Punjabi actress Sargun Mehta, who stepped into the industry with television, and paved her way towards Punjabi cinema with the film ‘Angrej’ in 2015 is one of the most successful actresses of the industry so far.
After making it big with acting, she recently stepped into production as well with the support of her husband, Ravi Dubey. She has produced two Punjabi films, including ‘Kala Shah Kala’ and ‘Jhalle’ under her home production banner, Dreamiyata; out of which ‘Jhalle’ is yet to release on November 15. Dreamiyata Entertainment is owned by Ravi and Sargun.
Sargun recently took down to her official Instagram handle to share a heartfelt note on being one of very few female producers in Punjabi film industry. She posted a video of herself, loosening her hair and captioned it as: “Verified
I belonged to a business family but none of it belonged to film production ever when I started off being one the very few female producers from the punjabi movie industry I had challenges specially cause it was a whole new avenue I was alone all I had was ravis support and honesty and full of passion in whatever I wanted to do here I am with 9 releases 2 home productions 2 Filmfare and uncounted love from audience this is my story of freedom.
