SGPC Organises Sound And Light Show With Over 120 Actors Sharing Guru Nanak Ji’s Wisdom

Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) organized sound and light show at Sultanpur Lodhi on November 12. The show was organized as a part of the ongoing celebration to commemorate the 550^th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Tuesday.

The show was staged on a huge 160 feet by 40 feet stage, as the SGPC used 13 different technologies to create an hour long experience for the audience. The devotees came to Sultanpur Lodhi, situated in Punjab to seek blessings,but rather left with the wisdom of Guru Nanak Dev Ji through the show.

The show was based on a script by ‘Punjabi Shakespeare’, Dr Charan Das Sidhu, and was helmed by Ravi Taneja. The sound ‘n’ light show was produced specially by Showcraft with PTC Network as the knowledge partner.

The show had originally composed Shabads and songs with over 120 actors narrating the wisdom of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s and the ways to imply the knowledge in today’s world. A huge façade replica of Nankana Sahib was created to impart the knowledge to the audience.

A foreign crew was specially flown in to pilot the 150 drones which formed “Kal Taran Guru Nanak Aaya” and “Ek Onkar” with unique fly lights.

Meanwhile, 550^th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s was observed as a huge celebration around the world as it brought Pakistan and India together by opening the Kartarpur corridor for Sikh pilgrims from around the world.
