Shah Rukh Khan To Help Acid Attack Survivors To Find Jobs

There have been so many times when Shah Rukh Khan has come forward to help the people in need. The actor who is hailed as the king of Bollywood is not just a hero in reel life, but also a rockstar in real life.

Shah Rukh Khan, who has lend out his hand for acid attack survivors with his foundation ‘Meer Foundation’, has also stepped up to help them find jobs in the industry. He took down to his official Twitter handle on Human Rights Day, to share a video on acid attack survivors associated with his foundation.

He wrote: “Human Rights state that every adult has the right to a fair wage & job. Survivors find it difficult to find opportunities that will help them move back into the society. #MeerFoundation’s #ToGETherTransformed ensures survivors find the strength to get back on their feet. @iamsrk”

Meer Foundation is a non-profit organisation that aims toward building a world that empowers women. It works on the ground level and one of the key focus of the foundation is to support acid attack survivors, help them with medical treatment and ensure a great livelihood ahead for them.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone released the trailer of her upcoming film, based on the life of an acid attack survivor on the same day.
