In a big relief for Aryan Khan, NCB has given him a clean chit in the cruise drug bust case.

Earlier in March 2022, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), had stated that there was "no evidence that Aryan Khan was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or an international drugs trafficking syndicate".

Reportedly, the officials had said that Aryan Khan was not in possession of drugs, therefore, there was no need to take his phone and check his chats.

Besides, the chats did not suggest that Aryan Khan was part of any international syndicate.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, DDG (Operations), NCB, said that a complaint against 14 persons under various sections of the NDPS Act is being filed. Complaint against rest six persons is not being filed due to a lack of evidence, he added.

All the accused persons were found in possession of Narcotics except Aryan and Mohak, reads a statement of Sanjay Kumar Singh, DDG (Operations), NCB.
