Shilpa Shetty Welcomes Baby girl Through Surrogacy, Names Her Samisha Shetty Kundra
Bollywood fitness queen Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra took to their social media handles and announced that they have once again become parents to a baby girl through surrogacy. The baby was born on February 15.
Sharing the good news with all of her fans, Shilpa said, “Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little Angel. Samisha Shetty Kundra. Born on 15th February 2020 Junior SSK in the house,” Shilpa said. She even revealed the meaning behind her unique name. “Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have”, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name - our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family.”
The couple welcomed their first child Viaan in 2012 after they tied the knot in November 2009.
Talking about her work front, Shilpa will be seen on the silver screen after 13 year. She will be returning to the screens with Sabbir Khan’s ‘Nikamma’ which also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and YouTuber, Shirley Setia. The film will release in the theatres in June this year.
Shilpa will also be seen in Priyadarshan’s ‘Hungama 2’. She will be seen sharing the screen with Paresh Rawal, Meexan Jafferi and Pranitha Subhash.
