'SHUBH MANGAL SAVDHAAN' PASSES CBFC WITH NO CUTS

Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Padnekar starrer "Shubh Mangal Savdhaan" is based on a sensitive topic. The movie touches upon erectile dysfunction and premarital sex, but the producer, Aanand L Rai says that they have kept the movie clean and they were expecting a U/A certificate from CBFC. The movie throws light on the necessary issues that are only spoken about in bedrooms. Aanand L Rai praised the CBFC for the having the ability to look at the film in context and giving it U/A certificate. He said, "The current generation has a progressive outlook towards issues they face and communicate the same with each other. However, this wasn't the case before. I am glad that the Censor Board is adapting to the change that has come about in the mindset."

The director of the movie, RS Parsanna said that the people around him feared him about the sensitive issues and scenes in "Shubh Mangal Savdhaan" for getting an A certificate for the movie. But he told the media, " I am very happy. This shows that what we have been promising in the promotions, it is indeed a family entertainer, a very clean film. We are lucky. I am personally blessed that the censor board saw the film for its intention and gave a certificate, which is a representative of the film."

Talking about the starcast of the movie, Ayushmann Khurrana did his debut with "Vicky Donor" as an actor in the Bollywood Industry. From then onwards he is on a rise and rise . He gained love, name and fame with his promising roles in different movie. Bhumi Padnekar's latest release was with Akshay Kumar "Toilet : Ek Prem Katha", which was a blockbuster hit. Ayushmann and Bhumi were seen together in "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" before. "Shubh Mangal Savdhaan" is made under the production of Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions and will hit the theatres on 1st September alongside Ajay Devgan's much anticipated movie "Baadshaho". The movie has been under controversies for a long time. Rest, the thing to be noticed is that after getting U/A certificate how good the movie will do. Will it be a Blockbuster Hit or will it just disappear between the other releases? All these answers are just two days away. Lets hope for the best.
