Sidhu Moose Wala murder case: Suspected shooter Saurabh Mahakal arrested from Pune

Sidhu Moose Wala news: The absconding accused in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, Saurabh alias Siddesh Kamble, also known as Mahakal, was arrested in Pune on Wednesday.

With Saurabh Mahakal's arrest, a total of nine people have been arrested in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Punjab Police stated that as many as eight people were arrested in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

They were arrested on the charges of providing logistic support, conducting recce and harbouring the shooters of the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

The Police also said that four shooters were identified who were allegedly involved in the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala. Those arrested include Sandeep Singh, alias Kekda, of Sirsa, Haryana; Manpreet Singh, alias Manna, of Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda; and Manpreet Bhau of Dhaipai, Faridkot.

Likewise, Saraj Mintu of Dode Kalsia village, Amritsar; Prabhdeep Sidhu, alias Pabbi, of Takhat-Mall, Haryana; Monu Dagar of Rewli village in Sonipat, Haryana; Pawan Bishnoi and Naseeb, both residents of Fatehabad, Haryana, were also arrested.

It was a black day for Punjab as Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29 in Punjab's Mansa district. Punjab police termed the incident a case of an inter-gang rivalry.

Meanwhile, Canada-based Goldy Brar had claimed the responsibility for the killing of the Punjabi singer.
